The transparency of the processing is one of the main ways of <strong>establishing trust <\/strong>with data subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information<strong> indicates those in charge of the processing<\/strong> (data controller) and <strong>allows data subjects to know where to file a request relating to their data<\/strong>, such as exercising their rights. Information must be <strong>provided when collecting data<\/strong> or when there is a change in the processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"accessible\">Information must be easily accessible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Information must <strong>be easy to access<\/strong>: the user must be able to find it easily, whether in a digital environment or not (information note, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>methods and techniques chosen to make information accessible can vary<\/strong>, <strong>depending on the context<\/strong> and interactions with data subjects: pop-ins, tooltips, dedicated pages, QR code, audio messages, videos, display boards, paper documentation, information campaigns, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Example<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In this example, the user wants to learn more about the information collected by a fitness monitoring app.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns block-ex-2col is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Focus of attention<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"375\" height=\"812\" src=\"https:\/\/design.cnil.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Accessible-Don\u2019t@2x.png\" alt=\"Information  - Accessible - Attention\" class=\"wp-image-5867\" srcset=\"https:\/\/design.cnil.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Accessible-Don\u2019t@2x.png 375w, https:\/\/design.cnil.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Accessible-Don\u2019t@2x-139x300.png 139w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><figcaption><em>In this case, <strong>the user is told nothing about the location of her information<\/strong>. These points are in fact easily accessible through the use of anchors<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"intelligible\">Information must be intelligible and concise<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Good information must be <strong>effective and succinct<\/strong>. To avoid the pitfall of excessive information that submerges the user, it is necessary to <strong>provide the most relevant information at the right time<\/strong>.
